GRADUATE SHOW
This body of work is inspired by the story of the Rainbow Serpent (Nangungudditj Walgu) and focuses on the relationship between the snake and the land. The designer uses silhouette, fabric manipulation and colour as a narrative, with each garment conveying elements of this story and enhancing the cultural significance of the collection. Through extensive research, Moore has developed a deeper understanding of her culture, The Dreaming and what it means to be a Nyoongar woman. The spiritual and peaceful art of storytelling is communicated through printed and dyed fabrics, delicate beadwork, digital print work and intricate fabric manipulations.
